Shane’s biography

Shane Anderson is Minnesota based Fine Artist/Public Artist. His art is colorful, vibrant, lively, and filled with interesting details. Bright colors and bold forms are used to create works of art that invite exploration and spark conversation. His murals can be found throughout the United States, as well as exotic locations like Kenya, Thailand, and the Virgin Islands.

Shane’s introduction into the world of professional art started with St. Paul’s public art installation of the Peanut’s statues in which he designed and created eight large Peanuts themed statue from 2001 - 2006. This project gave him the confidence and experience to take the leap to becoming a muralist. In 2007, Shane started creating custom murals for clients and displaying/selling his fine art. Since then has become internationally renowned for his work.

Murals, Public Art, and Community Painting Events have been commissioned across the United States and internationally by large corporations, small businesses, and non-profits while private collectors across the globe have purchased his fine art. Shane’s commissioned public art and clients include, but are not limited to the Mall of America, Bell Bank, Park Dental, Medtronic, Regions Hospital, Calhoun Square, University of Minnesota, Goodwill Easter Seals, Make a Wish, Phoenix Learning Centers, the Special Olympics, Sunrise Banks, the Uptown Art Fair, the Saint Paul Winter Carnival and CHX.
